It’s been sweltering here in California, and I’ve been craving juice all summer long. We got several watermelons this week and I decided to juice one of them. This Watermelon Lime Juice is so easy to make and incredibly refreshing—try it out this weekend! The kids will love it and it’s good for them, too!

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 1 watermelon, cubed
  • ½ a lime
  • Salt or sugar (for the rim of the glass, whichever you prefer)

Strain your watermelon through a juice, or if you don’t have a juicer, blend your watermelon and squeeze out the juice through a bag strainer. Once you have your watermelon juice, moisten the rims of your glasses with the lime and dip the rims in either salt or sugar (whichever you prefer). Squeeze the rest of the lime juice into the watermelon juice and mix well.

Pour into your glasses, garnish, and serve. Enjoy!
