Baths to the Rescue

Sometimes life can add stress and chaos to our lives. Here are three baths that can help calm and relax you after a long day! Detox Bath If you want to help release built up toxins and balance your pH levels all while helping reduce stress, then this bath is a must. Throw about a cup of Epsom salt, 20 drops of lavender essential oil and ¾ cup of baking soda. Light some candles, turn on some music, and close your eyes, letting the bath do its magic. Relaxation is just minutes away. Exfoliating Bath If you need to nourish and exfoliate your skin, taking a milk honey bath is a great way to do it. Pour 4 cups of milk and 3 tablespoons of honey into your warm water and soak. The lactic acid in the milk will exfoliate and cleanse your skin, and the honey will moisturize it and leave you with a healthy glow. Apple Cider Bath If you’re sore and your body is aching, adding 2½ cups of apple cider vinegar to your bath will do wonders. It helps reduce the symptoms of arthritis, tendonitis and gout, and also helps with removing excess uric acid.
